5 Things You Should Know About the 2017 Quicken Loans National

Quicken Loans is proud to be sponsoring the Quicken Loans National for the fourth consecutive year. This is sure to be an exciting weekend with golfers like Rickie Fowler, Justin Thomas and last year’s winner, Billy Hurley III, teeing off; but perhaps the most exciting part is how the tournament honors our country’s active and retired service members.
Whether you’re watching from home or out on the green, here are five things you’ll want to know about this year’s Quicken Loans National tournament.
VIP Experience for Service Members

Keeping with the tradition of the tournament, the Quicken Loans National set out to honor the brave service members who serve or have served our country.
Every active-duty and retired military member will receive camouflage lanyards that give them express entry and access to exclusive events, dedicated concessions areas and discounts on merchandise.
One of the most exciting ways we’re honoring these courageous individuals is with the Quicken Loans Shot for Heroes event.
At the tournament, fans and players have the opportunity to tee off at a 90-yard target to raise money for military charities. Over the last two years, nearly $500,000 has been raised for these charities, so we’re sure to keep the greens rolling in this weekend!
Rocket Mortgage Madness Vault

If you’re at the tournament this weekend, the Rocket Mortgage Madness Vault is a must-see experience.
The Vault is included with the price of admission but holds some extra value: you’ll find chances to have extra fun and to enter to win money and prizes!
Rocket Mortgage MadHouse

If you’re looking for a VIP experience, look no further than the Rocket Mortgage MadHouse!
Unlike the Vault, the MadHouse requires an additional purchase to enter, but it’s worth it to rest in a bit of luxury. You can sit back at the 17 tee while enjoying a climate-controlled space, upgraded restrooms, soft seating and TV screens. There’s also complimentary Wi-Fi available for guests.

Tickets to the Rocket Mortgage MadHouse are $85 per day (Thursday – Sunday) for adults and $35 per day for children 12 and under. Children’s tickets must be purchased at the box office.
Rickie Fowler
Rickie Fowler, arguably the most colorful golfer on the PGA TOUR®, is currently ranked number 9 in the standings and will be playing at the Quicken Loans National this weekend. Also, he’s sponsored by Quicken Loans and appears in our newest commercial series.

If you want to get an inside look into what’s happening at the tournament from a player’s perspective, follow Rickie on Snapchat and Instagram !
Social Interaction

Rickie’s Snapchat story is bound to be fun, but if you’re watching from home and want to feel like you’re a part of the action, follow along with Quicken Loans and the Quicken Loans National on Twitter as well as Snapchat. We’ll be posting throughout the day, keeping you informed on what’s happening at the tournament.
If you’re at the tournament, be sure to use the Quicken Loans National Snapchat filters to share how you’re enjoying the weekend!
