We talk to our clients every day. We hear their stories, share our own, laugh at the fun times and cry together through the tough ones. Our clients are our heart and soul, and we want nothing more than to make sure we touch the lives of every single person who works with Quicken Loans in one way or another.
For seven years in a row now, J.D. Power has ranked Quicken Loans highest in the nation in customer satisfaction for Primary Mortgage Origination. And for the third year in a row, they also ranked us highest in the nation for Mortgage Servicing .
We’re so grateful for your trust and support. We wish we could personally thank every single one of our clients, and we’re going to try! But for now, we started with a few of our clients whose stories really touched our hearts.
You may remember a few of them from our thank-you video , for which we set up a video chat session to surprise them during the holiday season. Four families were able to join us on the trip of a lifetime to the Westin Kierland Resort & Spa in Scottsdale, Arizona. When they first got the call, it was hard to believe that something like this was possible.
“My friends all warned me this was a scam,” said our lucky client winner Faith. “I had to tell them over and over again, Quicken Loans isn’t like that!”
Another one of our lucky clients, Cestiny, told us, “I didn’t know what to think. Who ever heard of your mortgage company doing something nice like this for you?” She went on to tell me about how she’s built a friendship with Andrew, our client relations specialist. “I wish I could just hug him, and thank him for all that he’s done. There are no words for how much he’s helped.”
“All they’ve done since I started working with Quicken Loans is help me. That’s more than I can say for some people, let alone my mortgage company,” agreed Faith’s husband, Anthony.
We thought, “Who doesn’t love a weekend away from responsibilities, worries and the stresses of home?” So we set about to make it a weekend they wouldn’t forget. From handling all of the travel arrangements to planning fun events, even including giving them a gift bag with beach towels for the pool, we tried to make this surprise trip as laid back and comfortable for them as possible.
After everyone arrived and got settled in at the hotel, we gathered that evening for a dinner in celebration. Caricature artist Nancy Kartoon was there to capture the moment, and was she ever a hit! While she chatted away with the kids in the group, the rest of us relaxed over dinner, sharing stories and laughs while really getting to know each other. This dinner and bonding time really set the tone for the rest of the weekend.
That Saturday, we rented out the FlowRider surf simulator and had lunch together. “I can’t believe you’d do something so nice for all of us. This has just been awesome,” said Cheryl, our client and a mom to six well-behaved, sweet and hilarious kids.
By this point, hanging out with everyone felt like a fun family reunion. We all cheered as our client Amanda and her husband, Robert, were the first to jump on and master the waves. The kids took turns surfing and encouraged the shy ones to give it a go. We laughed, ate lunch and enjoyed each other’s company for the day.
“I’m so glad we’re here,” Amanda said. She had just finished surfing on the FlowRider like she’s been doing it her whole life.
When Sunday came around too soon, we were sad to see everyone go. Two of our client families exchanged contact information and plan on getting together after the trip!
“I hope they had a good time, and remember this weekend. It makes everything we do worth it,” said Crissy, one of the team members responsible for planning the trip, said as we closed out the weekend. As we watched our clients head out for the airport, we all agreed that saying goodbye was a lot harder than we expected.
“I’m really going to miss my little buddy,” said another team member, Biancca, about Alarik, one of Cheryl and Justin’s children.
While it was certainly an incredible trip, we want to make sure we help our clients along the way every day, in every way we can. We’ll continue to pay our thanks forward because we love hearing your stories and your hopes and dreams. We love being a part of your success and getting to know you and your family.
